As a school we provide a wide range of enrichments that enhance our curriculum. These include clubs outside of the school day and those which take place on Friday afternoons where the children select the activities they wish to take part in. These change each term.
On Friday afternoons, all children in Years 1 to 6 take part in an enrichment club organised by teachers and teaching assistants. This provides our children with the unique opportunity of enriching their learning further.
The school provides every child with the opportunity to earn how to play a musical instrument (Foundation Stage - The Voice, Year 1 - Handbells, Year 2 - Ocarina, Year 3 - Recorders, Year 4 and 5 - Ukuleles and Year 6 Xylophones). Visiting music teachers come to the school weekly to teach a wide range of musical instruments within school time and the school has active links with the Kent Music School and the Music Hub.
A range of school visits are also planned throughout the year to support and enhance the curriculum. Year 4 also have a residential visit to Bushcraft and Year 6 visit an outdoor education centre for a week.
