Brunswick House Primary School Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is actively involved in the life of the school. We welcome all staff, parents and carers to attend meetings and get involved in social events and fundraising.
We strive to improve many things for the school by putting on events. This enables us to raise the necessary funds to purchase equipment and resources that support the school and enhance the educational opportunities of the children.
The PTA held a very successful Christmas Market on Friday 30th November. It was so nice to see so many people attend and enjoy all the festivities we had on offer. We are very grateful to everyone at Brunswick House for helping make this such a memorable event.
The funds raised mean that we have been able to provide £1,400 to revamp all the book corners in every classroom. This will help to provide a comfortable and relaxing place for children to read in. We will update you again when these areas in school have been completed.
From the success of our summer fete in July 2018 we were also able to purchase 20 new football strips for the school, showing the new school logo, along with extra shin pads and goal keeper gloves. These have already been delivered and have been worn to the recent football tournaments that the children have participated in. The children’s response to the new kit was amazing and we had some very happy faces all round when these were modelled during a recent assembly in school. We are now also awaiting a delivery of new netball bibs.
We are continuing to grow the PTA at Brunswick House so we can keep benefiting our children through the fundraising we do. We are always looking for fundraising ideas and would love to see some new faces, please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel you could help.
Thank you again for all the continued support.
