|What Our Staff Say|
Mrs Carrico-Wilson - Year 2 Teacher
Brunswick House is a friendly, welcoming school which is a pleasure to be a part of. I enjoy coming to work and seeing the smiling, happy faces of the staff and students. When there are challenges, the staff work together to solve them and I feel well-supported by the Senior Leadership Team. There is lots on offer for pupils including art, music and sports activities.
Mr Hutchins - Year 4 Teacher
Since joining Brunswick House in 2016, I have held a number of roles. From starting at the Breakfast Club to completing my teacher training here, I have been afforded great opportunities to build positive relationships with all the staff and children within our school. Also, I am fortunate enough to be surrounded by a supportive network of amazing colleagues, who are there when I need advice.
I thoroughly enjoy every day at Brunswick House because they are so different. I enjoy being able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum, which is inclusive for all pupils. From this, I am rewarded by the achievements and successes of the children.
Miss Morrell - Year 5 Teacher
Brunswick House Primary School is a great place to work. We are lucky to have wonderful, enthusiastic children who want to learn. The staff here are great and all work hard in a team to provide our children with the best education and care we can. Brunswick is a caring place for children and staff alike; everyone is valued and our Senior Leadership Team always look out for us and support us. Here, at Brunswick, you are always given opportunities to improve your practice, try new things and lead on exciting schemes for our children. Rarely are we told 'no' to something that is going to benefit our children and school. The in-house CPD is second to none and I feel I have learnt so much through the initiatives we have in place. Brunswick will definitely support you in becoming the best teacher or leader you can be and it's great to be part of such a fantastic team and school.
Mrs Singh - Teaching Assistant
When I left Brunswick House as a child, I never dreamt I’d be working here as an adult but I couldn’t think of a better place to work. The other staff are so supportive of each other and the children are simply amazing. The children can achieve their potential in whichever subject they shine most in because every subject is promoted within the school. We have Arts week for those with artistic flair and Sports Week for those with zest for Physical Education. There is also Musical Theatre for those with a dramatic side. These all make the children and staff “Enjoy the Journey to Success.”
Mr Ware - Deputy Headteacher
I joined Brunswick House in April 2017, following many years teaching in Dartford. I have thoroughly enjoyed this new challenge and am proud to be a member of the Brunswick House team. Everyone here is dedicated to creating the best learning environment for our children. I am surrounded by thoughtful and supportive staff, who I know are always on hand to help out. It is great to be working in a school that is focussed on providing an enriching curriculum, where children's interests are encouraged and nurtured and I am pleased to be able to support these through my own interests in both sport and music.
Mrs Whitehead - Headteacher's PA/Office Manager
I love working at Brunswick House Primary school because no two days are the same, so life is never dull. The children are so lovely and it great to see them come in as tiny little children having to learn everything and develop through to older and more independent children.
The values of Brunswick House Primary of respect, teamwork, empathy, self-belief and honesty are very important and you can see that reflected in the staff and children alike. When there are the inevitable bumps in the road, children are carefully and thoughtfully steered through these.
I never realised before working at a school how challenging it can be and how dedicated the staff are to the children and school life. It is a privilege to work alongside such committed individuals.
Miss Zigler - Year 6 Teacher
I joined Brunswick House four years ago as a Newly Qualified Teacher. Even though each year has brought new challenges, it has been such a rewarding experience and a pleasure to be a part of. I have learnt everything I know from the supportive team around me and Senior Leadership Team, who are always happy to help and make me feel valued. My favourite part of teaching at Brunswick is that as teachers, we are given creative scope to plan and teach an exciting and balanced curriculum, which champions all of the children’s unique personalities and interests.
We are looking to recruit an inspirational and highly motivated non-teaching Inclusion Deputy Headteacher who can further enrich and enhance the opportunities for all our children. Commitment to attaining the absolute best for our pupils is at the very heart of our beliefs.
